Dr. Shiny C M is a seasoned management professional and socially conscious entrepreneurial strategist with an extensive 28-year career spanning Academics, Research, Industry, and Entrepreneurship. Holding an impressive academic background with an MBA, PGDHRM, Ph.D., and UGC (NET) qualifications, she has left her mark across various domains.
Dr. Shiny boasts a prolific research portfolio, with over 15 research articles and 4 books to her credit, spanning both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She has also presented over 15 papers at esteemed international and national conferences, while also spearheading national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and webinars. Her expertise as a resource person has been sought after by management institutes and corporates alike, earning her accolades such as the “Teachers Excellence Award 2019 under Gold Category” by KMM College of Management and Technology, Cochin.
As a Co-Founder of PLATFORM, a startup specializing in business solutions, Dr. Shiny is renowned for her prowess in setting up startups and managing Incubation Centers and Skill Development Centers. She is a sought-after trainer for corporate houses and government organizations, including MANAGE (Ministry of Agriculture), MGNCRE (Ministry of Education), and Kerala Startup Mission (Govt. of Kerala). Her passion for women empowerment is evident through her active involvement in various initiatives and movements across higher education institutes.
Dr. Shiny’s diverse areas of interest encompass Marketing, HR, Design Thinking, Retail Management, Entrepreneurship Development, Digital Marketing, Market Research, and Training. She is a certified Google Digital Marketing expert and has conducted hands-on training sessions for numerous young professionals and entrepreneurs.
Actively engaged as a Resource Person for MGNCRE, Dept. of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, Dr. Shiny plays a pivotal role in conducting Rural Entrepreneurship Development sessions, Community Engagement Programmes, and Psychosocial counseling for Covid-19 patients and their families. Her commitment to fostering academic growth is evident through her facilitation of over 200 workshops nationwide.
