LOGISTICS CLUB

Logistics Club at SVCCAM is formed to inculcate interest in Logistics activities among the students with their career options. Logistics refers to the overall process of managing how resources are acquired, stored and transported to their final destination. It is to create a new playground to connect students who are interested in learning and exploring opportunities for Logistics.

Logistics activities can include transportation, warehousing, packaging, materials handling, inventory control order fulfillment, forecasting, customer service and facility location. Logistics Managers are referred to as Logisticians. Logistics management involves identifying prospective distributors and suppliers and determining their effectiveness and accessibility. All activities from the procurement of raw materials, all the way through to delivering the right products to customers.
